Ayaan Hirsi Ali
(born on November 13, 1969 in Mogadishu, Somalia) is a Somali-American activist, writer, and politician known for her critical stance towards Islam and her advocacy for women's rights. After fleeing an arranged marriage, she sought asylum in the Netherlands, where she integrated into society and engaged in politics. She was a member of the Dutch Parliament from 2003 to 2006, focusing on integration and human rights issues.

Among her most notable works are "Infidel" (2007), an autobiography that narrates her life from Somalia to her activism in the West; "Nomad" (2010), where she reflects on the integration of Muslims into Western societies; and "Heretic" (2015), in which she proposes a reinterpretation of Islam to align it with democratic values. These publications have been influential in debates on religious freedom and women's rights in the Muslim world.
