Jaume Copons (Barcelona, 1966) is a prolific Spanish writer and screenwriter, specialized in children's and young adult literature. He started his career as a screenwriter on "Barrio Sésamo" and has worked on series such as "Los Lunnis" and "Los Algos". He studied Catalan philology and was a high school teacher before fully dedicating himself to writing. His work is characterized by combining humor, imagination, and educational values, and has been translated into multiple languages
Among his most notable works are the series "Yo, Elvis Riboldi" (2011), co-written with Daniel Cerdà, and "Agus y los monstruos" (since 2013), in collaboration with illustrator Liliana Fortuny. He has also published titles such as "No leeré este libro" (2021) and the collection "Bitmax & Co" (since 2020). He has received awards such as the Joaquim Ruyra and the Guillem Cifre de Colonya, establishing himself as a key figure in contemporary children's literature.
