In this sequel, young teacher, Adam, determines to expose the complex conspiracy which brought about the unexpected death of his friend and colleague, Bill. In the company of two of his former students, he sets out to discover how and why Bill died, who killed him and who gave the orders. But as the plot slowly unravels, it becomes apparent that the pursuers are themselves the pursued, unwitting victims of that same conspiracy which destroyed Bill. Their pursuit can have only one desperate end. The themes in this book are both contemporary and timeless. The author warns against the dangers that can accompany irrational obsession and urges balance and tolerance in ones affairs. "We live in days of violent beliefs and inflexible adherences.
