For the good of the country, a new ruler must unite Scots, Welsh and Romano-British, but this time it must be done by diplomacy and not by arms.

If a region is not clearly controlled by one of the factions, that area will be vulnerable to invasion by the Saxons. When four regions succumb to the Saxons, the search for the new king will be immediately interrupted, and the player who has contributed most to the unity of the factions will become the new leader of the resistance.
