Such a good work as the translation by Robert Alter deserved a better binding, a better paper, a better book. It looks as though the printing and binding has been homemade by a primary school kid. The edges of pages seem to have been torn or ripped. I have never seen such a bad editorial work, which is a really pity considering the wonderful content of the book
