(1874-1942) Canadian writer. Worked as a teacher in various island schools and as a journalist for regional newspapers. Studied literature at Dalhousie University for two years. In 1908, she published her first novel featuring Anne. This was followed by several titles, covering the adolescence, youth, and maturity of the protagonist and the Emily Starr series. She also published collections of short stories, poetry, and an autobiography in which similarities and differences between the life of the writer and those of her heroines are noted. Today, her work is the subject of research, conferences, and tributes around the world.

Es un libro en TAPA DURA, el tamaño de la letra y el interlineado es ideal, se lee bien, MUY bien, la letra es clara, libro de 1996. Medidas: 13.5 x 21 x 2.5 Como es un libro antiguo los laterales están un poco manchados, NO sucio, deterioro natural, 28 años. Y la primera hoja tiene un sello particular. Para mi es perfecto porque no pensé que podría conseguir este libro en esta vida. Espero puedan vender los otros libros. Estaría muy agradecida y si pudiera les daría más estrellas.
