"Our Saviour Jesus Christ: Devotionals for Each Day of the Year -Volume 1" explores our relationship with Jesus Christ that we enjoy by the power of the Spirit. The purpose of this book is to facilitate our conversion, when by faith, we obey the teachings of His gospel. It is not enough to believe in the Lord or in His gospel, because belief is only the mental assent to the validity of an eternal truth, without the moral element of responsibility that we call faith. We believe "that there is one God, and by so doing, we do well. But "the devils also believe, and tremble." (James 2:19). Our faith in the Savior is dead, or is of no efficacy, if it is not accompanied by our righteous works. I have written these devotionals that relate to our Lord Jesus Christ in the hope that they will provide us with encouragement as we make our way to the veil, where we will kneel at His feet and He will call to us us by name, saying: "Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Thou hast been faithful over a few things. I will make thee ruler over many things. Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord." (Matthew 25:21)
