The COVID-19 pandemic has affected every aspect of our lives, from our health andwell-being to our education and employment opportunities. The crisis has hit the mostvulnerable members of society the hardest, including street children who struggle tosurvive despite the challenges they face such as lack of access to basic needs like food, shelter, and healthcare. In this book, we explore the experiences of street childrenduring the pandemic and document their resilience, creativity, and survival strategies.By shedding light on their circumstances and comparing their lives before and duringthe pandemic, we hope to help social workers better understand their struggles andfind ways to support them. Education has also been severely impacted by the pandemic, with students facingfinancial challenges and struggling with distance learning. We discuss the importanceof financial education and the Department of Education's response to the crisis, as wellas a study on the effectiveness of distance learning for senior high school students. Byexamining the experiences of students during the pandemic, we aim to provide insightsinto the challenges they face and how they can overcome them.
