She was born in Montevideo (Uruguay) on January 23, 1975. She holds a degree in Communication Sciences from the Catholic University and is a film screenwriter by the School of Cinema. After selling 100,000 books, Cecilia Curbelo has become the most successful young adult writer in Uruguay. Her books have a legion of loyal readers that has spread throughout Latin America and Spain.
