Synopsis "La Celestina (in Spanish)"

Novela dialogada o teatro, La Celestina (1499), de Fernando de Rojas (1470-1541) es una de las obras cumbres y más originales de la literatura castellana. Una obra que hunde sus raíces en Plauto y Terencio, “La Tragicomedia de Calisto y Melibea”, como también se la conoce, narra las desventuras de un joven que quiere seducir a una muchacha por intermedio de “la Celestina”, vieja “trotaconventos” que se convierte desde entonces en el paradigma de la alcahueta.

Pero, más que eso La Celestina es un enorme fresco de la sociedad burguesa y rica del siglo XV. Una pintura animada en la que giran todos sus personajes.
