"The difference between leaders and followers is, leaders push ahead while followers wait to be pulled behind them." By the time I started writing Karma, I was fifty years old and had pushed ahead from the many highs and lows of life and personal relationships. In time, I discovered how to say things the way I see them, instead of telling someone what they may want to hear. Indeed, the truth may hurt, but it stands alone whether we accept it or not.In my poem titled, "What Makes a Man," you will witness the growth from that boy into manhood. It is my hope that Karma will open the pages to new types of poetic expressions. Levels of understanding and awareness will be reached from this collection of thoughts and theories.Perhaps, throughout this poetic journey, it will help readers to open up about their deepest thoughts and feelings without any reservations to family, loved ones and friends.
