Dolores Redondo is a prominent Spanish writer, widely recognized for her ability to create captivating intrigues, captivating atmospheres, and deeply human characters. Born on February 1, 1969, in Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain, Redondo is one of the most relevant authors in the contemporary literary scene, especially in the genre of crime novels.

Although she initially studied Law and trained in gastronomic restoration, her true calling was always literature. After publishing some short stories and tales, she debuted with her first novel, Los privilegios del ángel (2009), where her ability to explore human emotions and conflicts with great sensitivity was already evident.

The international recognition of Dolores Redondo's books came with the Baztán Trilogy, composed of El guardián invisible (2013), Legado en los huesos (2013), and Ofrenda a la tormenta (2014). Set in the Baztán Valley, in Navarre, this series combines elements of Basque mythology with an intense police plot and the personal story of Inspector Amaia Salazar. The trilogy was a resounding success, with millions of copies sold and film adaptations that brought her work to an even wider audience.

Her narrative style is characterized by precise and immersive writing, as well as her ability to address universal themes such as love, loss, fear, and redemption, all with deep respect for local culture and traditions.
