Karen has been a graphic artist and language teacher, but now she dedicates herself to writing full-time educational and assessment material for all levels of English, with a special interest in producing material for young students. Karen holds a TEFL diploma, an honors degree in linguistics and French, and is also a Gestalt therapist. She is particularly interested in sociolinguistics and storytelling.

Karen Saxby has produced a large amount of material for younger English learners, with published works including the series Fun for Starters, Movers and Flyers, and Storyfun for Starters, Movers and Flyers, as well as KET for Schools Trainer. Karen has given talks and conducted workshops for teachers in various countries on behalf of Cambridge Assessment.

Anne Robinson is the main presenter of Cambridge ESOL in Spain and writes the Teaching Together blog for Cambridge ESOL Spain. She has extensive experience with students of all ages and began teaching in Madrid, Spain, in 1985. For eleven years, she was the director of International House Santander.

Anne has been involved in the Cambridge ESOL YLE exams since before their launch in 1997, leading the exams and administering them in numerous locations in her region each year. She has also written seminars and web material for Cambridge ESOL. Anne is an oral examiner for all levels of the Cambridge ESOL exams.

Anne is the author of Fun for Starters, Movers and Flyers First Edition and co-author of the second edition of Fun for Starters, Movers and Flyers with Karen Saxby.

She is a regular speaker at Spanish and international conferences and enjoys contact with teachers and their feedback on her materials and ideas.
