She has previously published two Swedish adult coloring books, Sagolikt (Fairy Tales) and Sagor och Sägner (Fairy Tales and Folklore). With a degree in communication and public relations, she works as the head of communication at a cultural arts center and dedicates her free time to both her art and her family. Emelie, who lives in northern Sweden with her husband and two daughters, often draws inspiration from old folk tales and her own life for her illustrations.
