Clara Cortés, born in 1996 in Colmenar Viejo, Madrid, is a Spanish writer with a degree in Psychology from the Autonomous University of Madrid. From a young age, she showed an interest in literature, participating in and winning numerous regional and national literary contests. Currently, she balances her literary career with her work at the digital magazine Fantasy-Mundo, where she is responsible for reviewing young-adult novels.
Her most notable work is "At the End of Street 118" (2015), which won her the third edition of the La Caixa/Plataforma Award. This novel, set in the young-adult genre, addresses issues of mental health and diversity. She later published "Things You Wrote About Fire" (2016) and "Blue Bird" (2018), establishing herself as a relevant author in the field of Spanish youth literature.
