Agnès Martin-Lugand (Saint-Malo, France, 1979) is a clinical psychologist and worked for over six years in the field of child protection in Rouen (France). After facing numerous rejections from publishers, she decided to self-publish on Amazon Happy People Read and Drink Coffee (Alfaguara, 2014) and, after quickly reaching the top spots of the bestsellers, she became the first French self-published author to be hired by a traditional publisher, the prestigious Michel Lafon. Life is Worthwhile, You'll See is the eagerly awaited sequel to that novel. Alfaguara has also published The Atelier of Wishes (Alfaguara, 2015).
