Christopher Ruocchio es el autor de la galardonada serie «El Devorador de Soles», que fusiona ciencia ficción y fantasía, además de más de veinte relatos cortos. Nacido y criado en Raleigh, Carolina del Norte, Christopher se licenció en Retórica Inglesa por la Universidad Estatal de Carolina del Norte en 2015, con especialización en Filología Clásica. Ese mismo año, comenzó su carrera en el mundo editorial como editor junior en Baen Books hasta el verano de 2021, cuando renunció para dedicarse por completo a la escritura.

Historiador aficionado, antiguo entusiasta del boxeo y fanático de la ciencia ficción desde niño, Christopher supo que quería ser escritor desde los ocho años y vendió su primera novela, «Empire of Silence», a los veintidós.
