Federico Jiménez Losantos (Teruel, 1951) Studied high school with José Antonio Labordeta and José Sanchís Sinisterra and graduated in Barcelona. He founded the magazine Diwan and in 1979 published What Remains of Spain, the first denunciation of nationalism and linguistic immersion. He suffered a serious attack in 1981 and, once in Madrid, developed an intense journalistic activity, becoming head of opinion at Diario 16, columnist for the newspaper ABC and El Mundo, political commentator with Antonio Herrero on Cope and founder and current president of the Digital Freedom Group, where he has been directing Es la mañana de Federico on esRadio for ten years.

He is the recipient of many awards in different areas. His books, such as "the road to Sánchez's dictatorship", "the return to communism" or "Barcelona the city that was" are always bestsellers. He has also published books of poetry.
