Grant Morrison, born on January 31, 1960 in Glasgow, Scotland, is a renowned comic book writer, playwright, and producer. His style is characterized by non-linear narratives and the incorporation of countercultural themes in his works.

He is known for his innovative work in comics, from the graphic novel Batman: Arkham Asylum to the acclaimed series of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and X-Men, as well as his subversive creator-owned titles like The Invisibles, Seaguy, The Filth, and WE3.

On television, adaptations of his comic series Happy! for Syfy and Netflix and Aldous Huxley's Brave New World for Peacock have been developed. He is also the author of the New York Times bestseller Supergods. Morrison received an MBE for his services to film and literature.

Frank Quitely es el seudónimo del dibujante escocés Vincent Patrick Deighan, nacido en 1968 en Rutherglen. Desde niño cultivó una profunda pasión por el arte y las ilustraciones, lo que lo llevó a estudiar dibujo y pintura en la Escuela de Arte de Glasgow. Tras graduarse, realizó trabajos diversos —murales, retratos, carteles— hasta que una invitación para escribir y dibujar para un cómic local desencadenó su amor por la historieta.

Adoptó el nombre artístico Frank Quitely (un juego de palabras con "quite frankly") porque prefería mantener su trabajo en el cómic alejado de su entorno familiar. Su trayectoria despegó con la obra independiente Electric Soup, que le valió reconocimiento inmediato y lo introdujo al panorama editorial británico.
