El transcurso de la historia va llevando a Usagi a conocer a otras chicas destinadas a ser Sailor Senshi (Sailor Scouts), las que forman equipo con ell a y las que prefieren actuar por su cuenta. Tambin surge el clsico personaje masculino que la salva a ltimo momento, Tux edo Kamen (Tuxedo Masked), por el que Usagi se vuelve loca, y la historia va desentraando el por qu de que todos hayan s ido predestinados a pelear por la justicia.'
